Friday with Vietnam Cinema - The Screening of the Film Adrift
Dear all movie lovers,
At 8p.m. on Friday 23rd July 2010, TPD Center will organize a program on ‘Friday Night with Vietnam Cinema’ with the screening of the film Adrift (director Bui Thac Chuyen).
Different from other non-profit screenings on Saturday afternoon, the program Friday with Vietnam Cinema is a fundraising event. In this program, we are calling out for audiences' contribution to continue the operation of TPD Center in the future.
Center for Assistance
and Development of Movie Talents- Vietnam Cinema Association was established on
August 15th, 2002, with the purposes to design and implement events to assist
and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnam cinema.
Many projects of TPD have received great support and participation from movie
lovers all over the nation, including project "10 months 10 films",
"Cinema Space", "We are the Filmmakers"
In recent years, under the
project "Cinema Space" of TPDCenter, a great number of
film screenings have been set up at weekend, many of which have been screenings
of Vietnamese movies. Aiming to boost the promotion of Vietnamese cinematic
works to not only native people but also foreign audience, TPDCenter
has decided to organize screenings of Vietnamese movies every Friday night.
The Screening of the Film To Live and Dicussion with Screenwriter Ha Anh Thu
Dear members of Cinema Space,
At 14:00, Saturday July 10th 2010, there will be a meeting of "Bring Vietnam's cinema to audience" at TPD center. The meeting includes the screening of Duoc song (To Live) and discussion with Ha Anh Thu - scriptwriter and Nguyen Thi Thu - Leading actress.

Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents
was established under the Decision 236/HĐA signed by Mr.
Tran Luân Kim, Secretary General of Vietnam Cinema Association on 15 August
2002, with the purposes to design and implement programs to assist and develop movie
talents and other activities for the development of Vietnam cinema.
