To Kill a Mockingbird - From Book to Movie

Dear members of Cinema Space,

At 14:00, Saturday, December 19th 2009, TPD center will organize the second screening of the program “From Books to Movies”.

On the 1st death anniversary of famous director Robert Mulligan, this month program will be the screening of To Kill a Mockingbird directed by him in 1962.

To Kill a Mockingbird is a film adaptation of Harper Lee’s novel of the same name. After the screening, there will be a discussion with our guests on the adaptation of this movie.

Enrollment for Class H9, H10 in Hanoi

Numbers of students: 40

Schedule:

- 8 lessons on Documentary
- 8 lessons on Short Film
- Class is held every Sunday (Either in morning or afternoon)

All classes are tuition frees and open for volunteer participation.

Participants are students from the age of 12 to 22 whose residence is Hanoi

Topical discussion on Director Lu Chuan

Dear member’s of Cinema Space

On Saturday 12th December 2009 TPD will organize a film screening Kekexili: Mountain Patrol and a topical discussion on director Lu Chuan.

Time: 2.00 p.m. 12th December 2009

Venue: TPD Center – 22A Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi

Content:

- 2.00 p.m.: Introduction about director Lu Chuan.

- 2.30 p.m.: Film screening Kekexili: Mountain Patrol.

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established under the Decision 236/HĐA signed by Mr. Tran Luân Kim, Secretary General of Vietnam Cinema Association on 15 August 2002, with the purposes to design and implement programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnam cinema.
