Center for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents (TPD)- Vietnam Cinema Association would like to thank all candidates who have submitted their works to our Fourth Supplementing Script Selection of Project “10 months 10 films” period 2007-2009.

This time, 21 scripts were submitted, and carefully evaluated and selected by a council of professional filmmakers.

TPD Center really appreciate your passion for cinema. However, we regret to inform that none of the 21 scripts was selected.

We would love to have your support and collaboration for other projects in the future.

On Saturday 7th November 2009 TPD will organize a film screening Red and a topical discussion on director Krzystof Kieslowski.

Time: 2.00 p.m. 7th November 2009

Venue: TPD Center – 22A Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi

Content:

- 2.00 p.m.: Introduction about director Krzystof Kieslowski.

- 2.30 p.m.: Film screening Red.

Short films are considered first-hand experience of young filmmakers as they equip young filmmakers with the fundamental practice to further their professional development. On Saturday 31th November TPD Center will organize the screening of 4 short films made by young filmmakers.

Dear members of Cinema Space,

At 14:00, Saturday, October 17th 2009, the first screening of the program “From Books to Movies” will be held at TPD Center. This is the screening of the Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire, a movie based on the novel  Q&A of Vikas Swarup.

After the screening, there will be a discussion with the guests on making movies based on books.
