discussion on Independent Film.

Independent Film and spirit
Since early days of movie
history, there have been film- makers, who have refused all pressures and
imposition from big studios, to freely create. Started in the US, through many generations
of brave and talented film-makers, independent films has continuously developed,
become popular to audience as an art and taken part in upholding the vitality
of cinema.
Cinema Roundtable - Music written for movies in Vietnam
Music writing for movies in Vietnam is
considered weak and unprofessional. Aiming to bring audiences a broad view on
this field, Cinema Space will organize the Seventh Cinema Roundtable about
Music written for movies in Vietnam. There
will also be the screening of Tran Anh Hung’s “Vertical ray of the sun”

Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents
was established under the Decision 236/HĐA signed by Mr.
Tran Luân Kim, Secretary General of Vietnam Cinema Association on 15 August
2002, with the purposes to design and implement programs to assist and develop movie
talents and other activities for the development of Vietnam cinema.
