Introduction about Christopher Nolan:

In summer 2008 the success of the latest Batman movie – The Dark Knight has made Christopher Nolan the most mentioned film director. However, the talent of Christopher Nolan has been recognized long before that with a number of movies like Following, Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, and Batman Begins. Christopher Nolan has claimed his accomplishment both in independent and commercial films.

Introduction about the movie Following:

Following is the debut feature film of Christopher Nolan released in 1996. Christopher Nolan made this movie with his bare hands. He had to be in charge of both the director and cinematographer of Following. The humble budget only allowed Christopher Nolan to ask his acquaintances and friends to cast for the movie. Despite all of the initial difficulties, this independent movie received positive criticisms from movie critics right after its premiere. Though the total gross of Following was not very remarkable, this movie did open a promising door for Christopher Nolan, and it is also the best reflection of Christopher Nolan’s later filmmaking styles.
