The 21st screening of short films made by young filmmakers

The Golden Kite Award for Short Films was held by the Vietnamese Cinema Association on December12th, 2008. The first prize (Golden Kite) was awarded to Nguyen Thuy Giang with her short film “Bong roi”. The second prize (Silver Kite) and third prizes were also given to some young film-makers.

On Saturday, December 20th, 2008, TPD Center will organise screening of 3 short films which have just won The Kite Award 2008.

Time: 14:00 Saturday 20th December 2008.

Venue: TPD Center (2nd floor) - 22A Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi.

Introduction
The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established under the Decision 236/HĐA signed by Mr. Tran Luân Kim, Secretary General of Vietnam Cinema Association on 15 August 2002, with the purposes to design and implement programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnam cinema.
