About Black Forest (Rung den)

Black Forest (Vuong Duc) is a romantic, wild and tragic love story between a man and a woman living in the forest. Hoat was born into a family in which both his father and brother are woodcutters. After staying in prison for his father’s crime, Hoat got away with Van - his father’s fiancé. The movie is about broken moral fibers through a family tragedy. All of the relationships: father-son, brothers, couples are nurtured by the holiness and wildness of the jungle.

Black Forest has made a great impression to audience with its strange spiritual factors told in a fresh and modern cinematic style.

The program is non-profit, free-entranced.

Supported by Hubert Bals Fund (HBF) – Rotterdam.
