The project We are the filmmakers
created by Center for Assistance and Development of
Movie Talents (TPD) - Vietnam Cinema Association is like a train with so many holds
of movie knowledge that will take you to a journey of short film making. At the
end of the journey, everyone will have his or her very own film.
We are the filmmakers includes short courses about
Documentary and Feature Films which are taken place at weekends and holidays.
At the course, you can enrich yourself with basic knowledge of movies, as well
as enjoy practical application of that knowledge. The objects of
the project are students at schools (6,7,8th and 10,11th
grades), colleges and universities through out the nation.
We are the filmmakers is also a community of young film lovers, where we can share our
favorite short films on T.V, websites, forum and blogs. Together we watch world
classic movies, discuss with famous filmmakers about movie issues. And every
year, we will join in a short film camp
We are the filmmakers will have a T.V show in which you and your films will be role actors and
actress.
We are the filmmakers will also hold a “1 pixel” film
festival for amateur filmmakers all over the nation to compete and
introduce their works
The project We are the filmmakers aims to bring cinema knowledge to schools as well as to refine aesthetic sense and improve
cinema knowledge of students. Its goal is also to create a playground for
teenagers in which young movie talents will be discoverd and nurtured.

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established under the Decision 236/HĐA signed by Mr. Tran Luân Kim, Secretary General of Vietnam Cinema Association on 15 August 2002, with the purposes to design and implement programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnam cinema.
