About Cua Roi

Graduated with honor, Thang (Duc Khue) was provided work at the institution by professor Dao. However, due to some dispute, he transferred to an university. became a lecturer and kept working on his strange Mathematics theory. Being an honest and kind guy, he helped one of his students, Thao, by lying to people that he was the father of her unborn child. His foolish kind impressed Huyen- Thao’s cousin, who yet decided to “teach him a lesson” with a sly trick

Bitter and humorous, the movie “Cua roi” raises the question of the role, the position and the behavior of the knowledgeable in society. This movie of director Vuong Duc (Feature film 1) won the “Silver Kite Award” 2002 of Vietnam Cinema Association. It was also brought to many international festival.
