Tớ biết nhiều bạn làm phim trăn trở với việc làm sao để tìm được tiền để thực hiện bộ phim của mình. Tớ giới thiệu với các bạn danh sách những quỹ tài trợ cho điện ảnh. Cá bạn cũng có thể tìm thấy danh sách này nếu các bạn hỏi bác Gu Gờ. Tớ liệt kê ra đây để các bạn đỡ mất thời gian. Việc của các bạn bây giờ làm chuẩn bị một đề tài thật hay. Đầy tính dân tộc và kể bằng ngôn ngữ điện ảnh quốc tế. Tìm một người phiên dịch thật tuyệt để có thể truyền tải mọi tinh hoa của dự án của các bạn sang ngôn ngữ khác. Và các bạn cần thời gian và sự kiên nhẫn.Muốn nhận được tiền tài trợ thì hồ sơ rất quan trọng. Tớ sẽ nói chi tiết lần lượt trong những note tới đây.

THẾ GIỚI

1) FOR PROJECTS in Africa, Asia and Latin America

Hubert Bals Fund – International Film Festival Rotterdam – The Netherlands
Related to IFFR, Hubert Bals Fund supports feature projects coming from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America :
- For script and project development up to €10,000,
- For digital production €20,000,
- For post-production €30,000
- For distribution in the country of origin : €15,000

Selection rounds take place twice a year, with application deadlines on March 1st and August 1st.

It's not needed to do any expenses in The Netherlands.
HBFasks usually to keep rights on Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg) in order to reimburse itself up to the support given.
HBF can also take in charge the theatrical distribution in The Netherlands.

World Cinema Fund (WCF) – Berlin International Film Festival - Germany
The aim of the World Cinema Fund is to help the realisation of films which otherwise could not be produced, i.e. feature films and creative feature-length documentaries with a strong cultural identity. Another important goal is to strengthen the profile of these films in German cinemas. The World Cinema Fund has an annual budget of about 500,000 Euros at its disposal and provides support in the fields of production and distribution.


Production support:
Up to 100,000 Euros per project.
The projects' budget should range between 200,000 – 1,000,000 €.
The funds should be spent in the country in which the film is to be produced.

Distribution support:
Up to 15,000 Euros per project.
The funds have to be spent for distributing the film in Germany.

You must have a German co-producer to get the money.

Göteborg Film Fund - Sweden
Development support and postproduction support
For directors and films coming from Asia, Central Asia, Latin America and Africa
Development support is up to 10.800 €
Postproduction support up to 43.200 €
2 deadlines each year: 1st of October and 1st of March

The Göteborg Film Fund asks for keeping distribution rights in Sweden and DVD rights in Scandinavia in order to reimburse itself.

Vision Sud Est - Switzerland
There are two types of financial support:
- Support of the production on the basis of documents attesting to the feasibility of the project.
- Support of the finishing (post-production) of a film on the basis of a first cut and a finishing concept.

Support up to 32.000 € for feature films
12.800€ for documentaries
12.800€ for postproduction

Visions Sud-Est asks for the Switzerland rights and organizes the theatrical distribution in Switzerland.

Amiens Development Fund – Amiens Film Festival - France
Around 15 to 20 projects are selected. Their authors/directors, and eventually their producer(s), pitch the story in front of an international professional jury-with high knowledge of co-producing with Southern countries-and an audience of professionals essentially composed of producers, distributors, financing organisms during Amiens Film Festival.

The four awarded screenplays are announced by the jury after the presentation of all the projects. The support is up to 7600€.

Countries concerned: Africa, Latin America, The Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Asia (excluding Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan), East and Middle East (excluding Bahrain, Israel), Central and Eastern Europe.
Deadline : August 31st

Fonds Sud Cinema - France
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and CNC (National Center of Cinema).

The support is made for feature films directed by people from all countries of Africa, Latin-America, Asia (without Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea), East and Middle East (excepted Israel, Turkey, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Arabian Emirates) Eastern Europe : Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia & Montenegro, Macedonia, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kirghistan.
Films have to be shot in the country, in the language of the country.

Support for production from 80.000€ to 150.000 €
Support for postproduction from 30.000 € to 50.000€

The projects are selected on scripts and previous work of the directors for production, and with a first editing for postproduction.
You can't get both. You can't apply for postproduction if you haven't applied for production.

4 deadlines by year, with 40 projects max registered at each one.
Between 4 and 6 projects are supported at each commission for a total of 20 / 25 projects supported by year.

A French producer is needed, between 50% to 60% should be spent in France, mainly on postproduction. The subsidy is not reimbursable. You have to get in touch with the French attaché culturel in your country or Region before any submission.

GLOBAL FILM INITIATIVE – United States
Global Film Initiative gives support at all stage of the process and is also a non commercial distribution organization in United States.

They support 8 projects by year on 2 commissions.
The grant is up to 10.000 USD + a possible option of presale for US rights.

Film projects coming from the following countries may apply to the grant : Africa, Latin America, The Caribbean, The Middle East, Asia (excluding Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan), Oceania (Excluding Australia and New Zealand).

EZEF – Germany
EZEF is a non commercial organization related to the Evangelist Churches in Germany.
They support projects in different stage of development and also can buy also completed films coming from Africa, Asia and Latin America
There is no deadlines.
By its support EZEF buy non commercial rights for Germany.
