The sixth meeting of Film Community – All about Directing

A movie is a contribution of a group, in which the cameraman provides his best shots; the actors give their wonderful performances; and not to mention costume, makeup, sound, editing, etc, whose job is nothing less important in making the movie a success.

So, what is the role of the director, first assistant director or second assistant director in a film crew? Every question will be answered in the sixth meeting of Film Community with guest speaker director Pham Nhue Giang.

At 14:00, May 29th 2010, the sixth meeting of Film Community will be held in TPD center- 22A Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi. In this meeting, members will recevived advises and comments about their projects from other members and guest speaker. Through the meeting, filmmaking lovers will have an overview about directing group.

Venue: TPD center- 22A Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi

Agenda:

- Part 1: Screening of Co trang (by Nguyen Quynh Trang) and discussion with guest - director Pham Nhue Giang about directing group.

- Part 2: Presentation of two filmmaking projects and feedbacks from audience and guest speaker.

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established under the Decision 236/HĐA signed by Mr. Tran Luân Kim, Secretary General of Vietnam Cinema Association on 15 August 2002, with the purposes to design and implement programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnam cinema.
