Cinema Roundtable – Vietnamese filmmakers with film marketing

Within the past few years the promotion and advertisement of a movie in Vietnam has become more and more popular not only for filmmakers but also for the mass media. Audience had known about films like The Rebel, The White Silk Dress, The Dance of Death, The Kiss of Death, etc. since they were still only written projects. How does the film marketing go?, What are the difficulties that filmmakers have to face when they introduce their films to the audience?, What are the opinions of those related and unrelated to film marketing?, etc. All of these questions will be answered in the 2^nd Cinema Roundtable: Vietnamese filmmakers with film marketing organized by TPD Center.

Participants will have chance to watch 2 in 1, a film by director Dao Duy Phuc, and have a talk with him about film marketing in general and the marketing of 2 in 1 in parlicular.

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established under the Decision 236/HĐA signed by Mr. Tran Luân Kim, Secretary General of Vietnam Cinema Association on 15 August 2002, with the purposes to design and implement programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnam cinema.
